If you or your teen have been thinking about braces, you’ve probably already heard of Invisalign®. More than five million people have more confident smiles thanks to the popular Invisalign system. The medical-grade, crystal-clear plastic aligners are nearly invisible, as they sit flush with the teeth. The aligners are also removable, so you don’t have to give up your favorite snacks!
Dr. Fields has received advanced training to be able to provide Invisalign treatment from the comfort of your dental home. There’s no need to go see an orthodontist—we can straighten your smile and provide all your oral health needs during your treatment all under one roof. With Invisalign’s advanced materials and technology, average treatment duration is only about a year!
Invisalign can now correct more alignment issues than ever before, including overbite, underbite, open bite and crossbite. It can also reduce crowding and lessen unwanted gaps in teeth. That said, Invisalign is not appropriate for everyone—but Dr. Fields will be happy to assess your individual dental case at your initial consultation.
Interested in Invisalign for your teen? We offer Invisalign Teen® as well! Invisalign Teen comes with compliance indicators to ensure they will be worn for the proper amount of time, as well as replacement aligners at no additional cost if kids happen to accidentally throw them away with their lunch at school.

We know straightening your smile is a big decision, but we assure you it’s well worth it! A straight smile is more aesthetically pleasing and can have a huge impact on your confidence, mental health, and quality of life. Plus, straighter teeth are healthier teeth because they’re easier to keep clean and run less of a risk for tooth decay and gum disease—it’s a win-win-win!
Invisalign’s aligners are custom-fitted to your mouth. When your first aligners arrive, Dr. Fields ensures they fit well and advises what happens next. Each set of aligners will be worn for 1-2 weeks depending on your individual treatment plan. Dr. Fields sees you every 6-8 weeks for checkups, gives you the next sets of aligners, and addresses all your concerns throughout the process.
You may experience temporary discomfort with each new set of aligners, which is normal; teeth are bones and they are moving, albeit very slowly. As with other orthodontics, you may need to wear a retainer once treatment ends to keep your smile in formation. Dr. Fields will go over this with you when that time comes.
